The 4th Annual Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon returns to the airwaves this Wednesday, October 4.
From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mix 97, Rock 107 and 800 CJBQ will be among nine local radio stations teaming up to raise much needed funds for The Children’s Foundation which serves Hastings, Prince Edward and Northumberland Counties.
Funds raised will go towards Children’s Foundation programs like the Camps of Hope and Reach for Success Bursary programs.

There will be a by-donation drive-thru BBQ in the parking lot at The Children’s Foundation (363 Dundas Street West) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will also be a dunk tank (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) featuring some local community leaders.
The Lorne Brooker Show will be broadcasting live from The Children’s Foundation from 9 – 11 a.m.
In addition, 50 cents from every McCafe hot beverage sold on October 4 at McDonald’s locations in Belleville, Trenton, Madoc, Brighton, Campbellford, Cobourg and Port Hope will be donated to The Children’s Foundation.
In 2022, the Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon raised just over $70,000.
