Quinte West OPP have charged a person with theft in a stolen bicycle investigation.
On September 10 around 10 p.m., officers responded to a business on 2nd Dug Hill Road on a report of an unattended bike being stolen.
Further investigation led to a suspect being identified.
A suspect was arrested on Sunday.
Thirty-eight-year-old James Merrill was charged with theft under $5,000.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on October 5, 2023.
