Get ready to hit the road for the Quinte Hospice Car Rally.
The Harvesting Hope for Hospice Quinte Car Rally and Artisan Market fundraiser is on once again, September 23.
Participants will experience fun activities and a chance to win prizes as they travel to destinations throughout Belleville and Quinte West.
Fifty cars are allowed to participate, with participants able to choose one of 25 slots in either Belleville or Trenton.
Event organizer Shelby MacPherson says it gets people out in their cars, exploring their community and seeing how many people support hospice care in this area.
“We’re so excited to put on the Harvesting Hope for Hospice Quinte Car Rally and Artisan Market once again to get people out in their cars exploring their community and seeing just how many people support hospice care in our area,” says MacPherson.
“We have to raise money every year so we’re supporting that. Having fun with the community. Making the community involved. Bringing awareness is our main goal.”
In addition there are two raffles and a family fun zone. Hospice Quinte provides individuals, families and caregivers with end of life care by attending to their physical and practical needs at no charge to the individual or their family.
In addition to the car rally, there will also be an artisan market featuring local crafters and makers, the family fun zone with many events and snacks for kids, two raffle draws with two grand prizes of a $5000 shopping spree at Leon’s Trenton (excluding appliances and electronics) and two season pass tickets to The Belleville Senator games at The Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre plus parking passes, and much more.
