A search warrant in Lennox and Addington County has led to charges against four local men and one local woman.
On Thursday, August 10, a raid took place at a residence on Bridge Street East in Napanee.
Five people were arrested and seizures included more than a pound of suspected cocaine and $7,000 in cash, along with brass knuckles.
As a result of this investigation, L&A County OPP has charged:
Brock Alkenbrack, age 27, of Deseronto with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Unauthorized possession of weapon
Mark Austin, age 57, of Napanee with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Unauthorized possession of weapon
- Fail to comply with probation order – two counts
Tracy Carroll, age 43, of Napanee with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Unauthorized possession of weapon
Patrick MacDonald, age 42, of Roblin with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Unauthorized possession of weapon
Richard Palmer, age 40, of Tyendinaga with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Unauthorized possession of weapon
All accused were held for a bail hearing and were remanded into custody. All are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee at a later date.
