Lennox and Addington OPP have charged a man with impaired driving.
On Friday, at approximately 10 p.m., officers were on patrol in Napanee when they witnessed a car leaving the fairgrounds. As the car was driving out, the vehicle did a burnout and fishtailed.
Police stopped the vehicle and after noticing that the driver was showing signs of impairment, administered a screening device. The driver was arrested and taken back to the police station for further testing.
As a result of the investigation Theren Huff Hauseux, age 19, of Odessa has been charged with operation while impaired, blood alcohol concentration and operation while impaired, alcohol and drugs.
The accused has a court date for August 22, his licence has been suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle impounded.
