Prince Edward County Council will hear two separate deputations about the Picton Terminals during its meeting Tuesday.
Both deputations are in opposition to a potential settlement in an ongoing zoning dispute between Prince Edward County and the commercial/industrial port’s owners.
The dispute started in 2020 when Prince Edward County Council denied a rezoning application which would have allowed more open bulk storage of materials and items, and docking for Great Lakes cruise ships.
The matter is now before the courts. County council meets at 7 o’clock at Shire Hall in Picton.
