Several people have been arrested but only one person charged after police executed a search warrant in Picton.
Around 5 a.m. Thursday morning, Prince Edward County OPP and the East Region Emergency Response Team and Community Street Crime Unit conducted a search warrant at an address on London Avenue, seizing a quantity of suspected cocaine and other drug paraphernalia.
A number of individuals were arrested with all but one being released unconditionally.
Dorothy Speirs, age 50 from Prince Edward County, was charged with three counts of failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court.
She was held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on Thursday.
