Intimate partner violence results in arrest in Prince Edward County

Prince Edward County OPP have charged one person in connection with an intimate partner violence investigation.
Police responded to a domestic dispute late Thursday night.
Investigation led to one individual being charged with Assault with a weapon.
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Picton at a later date.
