Belleville police responded to 79 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on July 12, 2023 to 5 a.m. on July 13, 2023.
Theft of Firearms
On July 12, 2023 at 7:20 p.m., an east end resident of Belleville contacted the Belleville Police Service to report that an unknown person(s) had stolen two firearms from their residence.
A Remington 12-gauge shotgun and an SKS rifle were reported stolen.

Threats
On July 11, 2023, the Belleville Police Service received a complaint that a female was threatening a male who resides in Belleville. An investigation revealed that the female had been charged earlier in 2023 with threatening the same male and is currently on conditions not to have any contact with him. On July 12, 2023, police contacted the female regarding the investigation. Later in the evening, at 11:58 p.m., the 38-year-old female from Perth turned herself in to Belleville police. She was charged with breach of undertaking and held for a bail hearing.
