Thousands of Elexicon customers in urban Belleville were without power for a couple of hours Thursday morning.
The lights went out around 3:30 a.m. for much of the east side of the city, from Highway 401 south to the Bay of Quinte.
There were also some outages in other parts of the city.
The reported cause was equipment failure.
A switch needed to be replaced.
Power returned just after 5:30 a.m.
