Two people from Belleville have been charged after a suspicious vehicle call in Cobourg on Friday morning.
Around 6:30 a.m., Cobourg police responded to Elgin Street West.
Officers located a vehicle matching the description provided, with two occupants inside.
The investigation revealed the vehicle was stolen from Belleville and one occupant was wanted on two outstanding warrants.
A 39-year old Belleville man has been charged with possession of property over $5,000, theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime, and failing to attend court.
A 32-year old Belleville woman has been charged with possession of property over $5,000 and breach of a release order.
