Alert residents and a security camera eventually helped Belleville police locate a man suspected of stealing an all terrain vehicle in Thurlow ward.
Last week a resident reported his 2020 Yamaha Grizzly ATV was stolen.
Another resident told police he’d seen someone very well known to them riding a similar looking ATV on the same day.
The information was given to police that the ATV was being stored elsewhere in Thurlow.
Following that, police found someone with video footage of the suspect riding the stolen ATV.
Facing charges is 39-year-old Jonathan Daynard of no fixed address.
