An almost year and a half investigation into the trafficking of cocaine in the Quinte region from the Greater Toronto Area led to two people being arrested on Wednesday.
The arrests came after Belleville Police Service and OPP officers with Project Renewal stopped a vehicle in Quinte West.
That stop led to searches of residences in Scarborough and in Whitby.
Following those, police seized almost 800 grams of cocaine, $32,145 in cash, and three cell phones.
Facing drug and possession of property obtained by crime charges are 29-year-old Elison Teliska and 24-year-old Dominic Brown, both of Scarborough.
The pair appear in court in June.
