Prince Edward County OPP have charged two youths in connection with an assault and robbery at a Picton park last fall.
Police say a youth was assaulted in October of last year and had some of their possessions taken.
A 14-year-old and 17-year-old, neither of whom can be named in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are each charged with:
- Robbery with violence
- Uttering threats- cause death or bodily harm
- Assault
- Theft under $5000
- Mischief – destroys or damages property
Both accused were released and will appear in court at a later date.
The OPP asks parents to discuss the implications of bullying with their children.
