The Hastings Prince Edward District School Board has selected a local contractor to do renovations for special education at Trenton High School.
K. Knudsen Construction submitted the lowest tender for the work at almost $1.1 million which was within the $1.2 million set aside for the project.
The renovations will transform two former culinary arts classrooms into ones for special education and will include other spaces and facilities as well.
The project is Phase 3 of ongoing renovations at Trenton High School.
