Belleville council will be asked to approve the vendors being recommended by city staff for Pop-ups on the Bay
at its meeting Monday April 24, 2023.
Eleven seasonal vendors were chosen out of 17 applications and three food trucks were recommended.
The following applicants have been selected for seasonal vendor operations in 2023:
1. The Golden Scoop (returning): ice cream, biosteel freezies, milkshakes
2. Community Bake House (new): pie, pot pies, cookies, squares, butter tarts, baklava,
Turkish Borek, street food, sandwiches, sausage rolls
3. Park Play Micro Golf (returning): Micro/billiard golf
4. Royal Haveli (returning): Indian food
5. Ice Gola (New): Indian ice popsicles
6. Souvlaki Ville (new): Greek food
7. Benji’s Waffle Hut & Beverage Bar (returning): Iced & hot coffee, fruit beverages,
pastries, waffles
8. Falafel Royale (returning): Syrian food, shawarma, falafels
9. Lemons (returning): 20+ handcrafted lemonades
10. Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (new): moccasins, beadwork, jewellery
11. Venture Outfitters (returning, year two of four-year contract): water sport rentals
The following applicants have been selected for seasonal food truck operations in 2023:
1. Gator’s Fries (returning): Traditional food truck fare
2. Brick Oven Pizza (returning): Wood fired pizza
3. Sugar Cravings (new): Funnel cakes, deep fried desserts
Pop Ups on the Bay runs from May 19 to September 17 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
