Cross-fit Belleville’s lawn is looking a lot more pink than it normally is.
Members of Cross-Fit Belleville have raised $500 for the You’ve Been Flocked fundraiser, a fundraiser to benefit Three Oaks Women’s shelter where people can donate to have large numbers of lawn flamingos installed on a local lawn.
Cross-Fit Belleville matched its members’ donations, for a total of $1000 raised. As a result of their efforts over 100 flamingos are visiting their business.
The You’ve Been Flocked fundraiser is part of local Realtor Gail Morrison’s efforts to raise $20,000 for the Three Oaks shelter in Belleville by November. So far, she’s raised $3000.
