A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a 37-year-old male who is wanted for the stabbing death of a woman in Oshawa.
Police responded to reports of an armed person at a Simcoe Street address around 4 a.m. Sunday, March 12.
Police arrived on scene and located two adult females suffering from stab wounds.
Both females were transported to Toronto area trauma centres where 26-year-old Katie Kainz died of her injuries.
Adam Odette, age 37 of Oshawa, is wanted for Second Degree Murder and Attempt Murder.
Investigators are urging Odette to contact counsel and turn himself in to police.
