Two people have been charged with impairment after a traffic complaint at a beach in Bancroft.
Ontario Provincial Police were called to a parking lot at a beach on Old L’Amable Road just after 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Bancroft OPP say they received a complaint regarding two ATVs.
An investigation led to the arrest of two people.
Thirty-three-year-old Lacey Eaton of Prince Edward County and 29-year-old Samantha Wadford of Bancroft were each charged with operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.
They were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on October 25.
