Northumberland OPP is reporting a plane crash in Port Hope.
Police attended the private airstrip where the crash took place yesterday.
At approximately 8:51 p.m., a Cherokee Piper aircraft had crashed in a field near the runway.
Two seniors, Alvin Crosby and Suzanne Parent, were pronounced dead on the scene.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is continuing the investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
