The Children’s Safety Village in Belleville had some critical equipment that was recently stolen replaced thanks to the generosity of a local realtor.
The battery operated Jeeps, used by kids as they learn about community safety, were stolen last year after someone broke into a garage at the village.
John-Ross Parks of Parks Group – Royal LePage ProAlliance has donated $2,000 to replace them.
The Belleville Chamber of Commerce shared word that the Children’s Safety Village was looking to raise funds to replace the stolen vehicles and upon hearing the news, Parks immediately offered to cover the entire cost.
The new Jeeps will each be adorned with a personalized licence plate acknowledging their donor.
