Local cases of COVID-19 are on the rise again though hospitalizations remain virtually unchanged.
In today’s weekly update, Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reports 83 active high-risk cases, up from 51 last week.
Two people are in hospital but no one is in the ICU.
Last week’s dashboard showed three people in hospital.
Outbreaks in high-risk settings more than tripled from two last week to seven this week.
The number of deaths remains unchanged at 63.
