Theft
On July 4, 2022 at 10:20 a.m., Belleville police took a report of a theft from a vehicle in the Byron Street area. The complaint advised that a STIHL concrete saw was taken from his truck sometime overnight on July 3. Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to call the Belleville Police Service.
Theft of purse
On July 4, 2022 at 3:40 p.m., Belleville police took a report of a theft of a purse from Riverside Park on Moira Street East. Police were advised that a male described as 20 to 25 years old with a long red beard, and grey sweat suit, had taken a purse off a bike in the area. The complainant advised that the male was chased and he eventually dropped the purse. The male was last seen in the Bell Blvd. and Adam St. area.
