OPP HAVE ISSUED A CORRECTION TO A PREVIOUS RELEASE. DECEASED DRIVER WAS ON A MOTORCYCLE NOT AN E-BIKE.
Members of the Northumberland OPP are currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that currently has County Road 2 at Shelter Valley Road closed for investigation.
On Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 12:18 p.m., the Northumberland OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on County Road 2 and Shelter Valley Road in Alnwick Haldimand. The collision involved a car and an e-bike. As a result of the collision, the driver of the e-bike was transported to hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
County Road 2 and Shelter Valley Road will remain closed for several hours while OPP Technical Collision Investigators conduct their investigation.
