Belleville Police investigating after a pickup truck and power equipment were stolen from Sir James Whitney School.
Sunday night around 10:45, suspects broke into a maintenance building on the property of the Dundas Street West School, stealing power lawn equipment and power tools as well as a black Dodge Ram that was parked inside.
Police believe the truck was travelling at a high rate of speed around the south and east ends of the city throughout the night and early morning.
Mid-morning the next day the truck was found abandoned near the police station but the rest of the stolen property was not recovered.
