Motor Vehicle Collision
On June 15, 2022, at 9:46 p.m., Belleville police and Hastings/Prince Edward Paramedics were called to Airport Parkway for the report of a two-vehicle crash. Investigation showed one vehicle had run into the back of another vehicle. One person was transported to Belleville General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the motor vehicle collision is continuing.
Mischief, Resist Arrest, Assault Police, Breach Undertaking
On June 15, 2022, at 8:28 p.m., Belleville police were called to the area of Harriett Street and North Front Street for reports that a female had thrown a rock at a passing vehicle, causing damage. While officers were arresting the female, she resisted and fought with the police. Upon arriving at the police station, she spit at officers. A check of the female revealed that she is currently on release conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. As a result, the 39-year-old Belleville resident was charged with mischief, resist arrest, assault police and breach of an undertaking. She was held for a show cause hearing on June16 in Belleville.
