Lennox and Addington OPP stopped a “Grandparent Scam” in progress last week.
On Friday, police responded to a report of a fraud in progress at a Loyalist Township address.
Officers arrested one person, charging 46-year-old Maxime Chung of Laval, Quebec with fraud over $5,000 and theft over $5,000.
