A Bancroft man will do a little more time in jail after being sentenced earlier this week on aggravated assault and assault with a weapon charges.
Maurice Martin, 36 years old when the incidents took place last August, had been charged by Bancroft OPP with two counts of attempted murder and other charges after three people were injured on Woodview Lane in the Town of Bancroft.
Martin will do another 46 days in jail after being in pre-sentence custody for almost 300 days. He will serve two years on probation and was handed a lifetime weapons ban.
