One of the last PA Days of the school year will be a busy, productive, engaging day for local youth.
United Way Hastings & Prince Edward’s Youth2Youth Summit will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at the Stirling
Rawdon & District Recreation Centre from 10:30am–4:30pm. Youth ages 15+ must be registered to attend.
This free, one–day event aims to connect youth from all over North Hastings, Central Hastings, Prince Edward, Lennox & Addington, as well as Belleville, Quinte West and Tyendinaga Territory.
Keynote speaker is Dillon Mendes, an alumni of the Top 35 Under 35 Global Changemaker awards, social entrepreneur, and co-founder of the social enterprise, PickWaste. He is a true believer in the Power of One.
He speaks about how one person, one action or one movement can change the world.
Throughout the day, youth and allies will have the opportunity to take part in interactive workshops that
provide them with a variety of transferable skills and awareness.
