Three student trustees have been elected for the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board.
Student trustees are elected by their peers, and represent students in the system while attending board meetings.
Darren Fernandes will represent the eastern region, Josephine Boyce will represent the western region, and Tess Shakell will represent the Indigenous voice from across ALCDSB.
The three students will serve for the 2026/2027 school year.
