The Belleville Fire Department has determined the cause of a house fire yesterday on Cloverleaf Drive.
Officials say flames were caused by an electrical problem in the basement’s ceiling.
The residents escaped safely and all of the home’s smoke alarms were working.
Damage is estimated at $1 million.
