Hundreds of students are once again expected to participate in the annual Quinte Regional Science and Technology Fair.
The local event has been providing opportunities for students to display and promote their scientific research since 1960.
The fair is going virtual again this year due to uncertainties surrounding the COVID-19 situation.
It will be held from April 1 to 3 and is open to all students in grades 4 to 12 from Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
Judging will take place over three days with the public able to view the projects on April 2 and 3 and the awards ceremony to be made available via social media on April 3.
Several awards, scholarships and prizes are available.

This 60th Canada Wide Science Fair will also be virtual this year, hosted by Fredericton in May.
