The Monday morning commute could be a messy one.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Bay of Quinte region as 25-40 cms of snow is expected to fall over the area beginning Sunday night into Monday morning, ending Monday afternoon.
Snowfall amounts are expected to decrease sharply along the western edge of the system.
There remains some uncertainty in the exact track of the storm which can affect the westward extent of snowfall accumulation.
