A Quinte West man will spend another almost eight years in federal prison on drug and firearms charges.
In the late summer of last year Cody Butler, 23 at the time, was arrested as part of a major police investigation involving the Belleville Police service and OPP which had begun earlier in the year.
Weapons, drugs, flight from police, and other charges were involved.
The investigation involved raids on residences in Belleville and Toronto and a traffic stop on Highway 401.
Donte Frivalt of Scarborough was also arrested as part of the investigation which police said hurt a regional crystal meth and cocaine trafficking scheme. He was recently sentenced to two years in jail.
Two other men charged, Derrick Veley of Loyalist Township, and Alexander Dumouchel of Quinte West remain before the courts.
