Environment Canada has issued a weather statement for the Bay of Quinte region forecasting strong winds.
According to the weather statement there will be strong winds sweeping into the area from Belleville to Northumberland County once again beginning late Thursday afternoon.
Winds in excess of 70 kilometres per hour are expected from the late afternoon into the evening before subsiding in the night.
The weather statement warns of loose objects and branches being tossed about as well as possible power outages.
This comes less than a week after winds of over 100 kilometres per hour rocked the area leaving thousands without power and debris strewn about.
