Members of the Prince Edward County OPP responded to a disturbance at a business on Picton Main Street on Saturday October 9, 2021 just before 1:00 p.m.
Officers arrived and conducted further investigation.
It was discovered that the suspect was wanted in relation to a domestic assault that occurred in the afternoon of October 5, 2021.
The individual was located on Elk Street arrested and charged with:
· Assault
· Uttering threats- cause death or bodily harm
· Causing a disturbance
The accused was released on an undertaking and is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton at a later date. The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
