A Stirling man was lucky to have escaped serious injury after an all terrain vehicle collision late Sunday afternoon.
Belleville police report the ATV hit a pole in the area of Mudcat Road and Countrycharm Drive northeast of Foxboro at around 5 o’clock.
The 25-year-old driver was thrown off the vehicle.
Hastings-Quinte paramedics took him to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation continues.
