Members of 424 Squadron out of the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre at 8 Wing Trenton were involved in a rescue mission in Quebec Friday.
According to the JRCC Twitter page, 424 Transport and Rescue Squadron and 439 Combat Support Squadron were called to an incident involving a crashed helicopter in Quebec.
They located and successfully rescued the pilot of the helicopter on Lac Wachigabau.
The pilot was transported in “good condition” to Chibougamau, Quebec.
