Weapons
On September 26, 2021 at approximately 8:30 p.m., police attended the area of Ann Street and Victoria Avenue for a man threatening people with a knife. Officers arrived on scene and arrested 33-year-old Kane Shultz for uttering threats, weapons dangers, and assault with a weapon. He was later released on an undertaking and is to appear in court on October 21, 2021.
Breach
On September 26, 2021 at approximately 11 a.m., police attended the Bank of Montreal on Front Street for a male sleeping in the bank vestibule. Once the man was identified, it was learned that he was on conditions not to be in the area of Front St. The 30-year-old male was arrested for breaching his undertaking and was held for a show cause hearing.
