Traffic Enforcement
On August 7, 2021 at 8:50 p.m., officers responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Front St near Campbell St. Investigation revealed the vehicle had hit a bollard and had fled the scene before officers arrived. Shortly thereafter, an OPP officer located the suspect vehicle in Rossmore. A 55-year-old male from Belleville was charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident. Prince Edward OPP are also investigating the driver.
Road Rage
On August 7, 2021 at 12:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a crash on Dundas St W. Investigation revealed a blue sedan (Hyundai or Nissan) with Pikachu stickers on the rear bumper had intentionally struck another car, sending it into the curb. No injuries were reported. The suspect vehicle was operated by a blonde female and was last seen travelling west towards Quinte West.
