OPP have laid charges in connection to an ongoing arson investigation in Stirling-Rawdon earlier this year.
Police were first called around 2:15 a.m. on January 2 after a fire at a business and a home at 254 and 260 West Front Street.
The Stirling-Rawdon Fire Department was able to put out the flames and nobody was injured, with further investigation determining that the blaze had been intentionally set.
Following that investigation, Central Hastings OPP have laid charges of fraud over $5,000 against a 19-year-old from East Gwillimbury.
They were released with a court date on August 26 in Belleville.
Investigators say their work looking into the fires is still ongoing and are asking anyone who might have information to contact OPP or Crimestoppers.
