Belleville Police have released some more information on a sudden death in the city earlier this week.
BPS, Hastings-Quinte EMS and Belleville firefighters responded to the call on West Moira Street, just before noon on Wednesday August 4, where a 36-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation by the BPS Forensics Unit, Criminal Investigative Division and Coroner, which included an autopsy, has confirmed that the death is not considered suspicious, and investigators have since cleared the scene.
Police are thanking members of the public who helped with their investigation, but say they won’t be releasing any more information on the case at this time.
