The roadway is open following a serious crash Thursday morning on the west side of Quinte West.
Around 8:00 a.m., emergency crews responded to Highway Two and County Road 40 (Wooler Road).
The driver of a motorcycle and an SUV collided, throwing the bike rider off his vehicle.
The driver was taken to Kingston General Hospital.
The road was closed for a short time, however the roadway has since re-opened.
No other details are known at this time.
