July building activity in Quinte West rebounded from a drop in 2020, with 86 permits issued last month, compared to 72 permits issued in July of last year.
The construction value of permits last month was just under $8.9 million, with about $5.7 million of that for new home builds.
The year-to-date building numbers are also substantially higher than through the first seven months of last year, with 523 permits issued worth just under $80 million, compared to just 395 permits worth about $48 million in 2020.
In July of 2019, Quinte West saw 110 permits issued, worth about $14.2 million, with 572 permits issued at a value of more than $107 million from January through July.
