A Trenton man has been arrested after a break-in in Belleville on Wednesday morning.
City police were called to a home in the west end around 9:00 a.m. where they found a man who they believed to have been involved in the break-in.
The 38-year-old, whose name was not released in order to protect the victim, has been charged with break and enter, and breaching probation.
The suspect was held in custody and scheduled for a court appearance on Wednesday.
