Hastings Prince Edward Public Health has announced two new cases of COVID-19 in the area.
One each of the new cases was found in Quinte West and Prince Edward County, with one case linked to travel and the other transmission cause pending.
Of the 13 active cases, six are connected to a bonfire on Hearns Road in Frankford.
As far as vaccinations go, 81% of residents 12 or older in HPE have had one shot, with 66 percent receiving both doses.
In Northumberland County the latest numbers show seven active cases.
The province has announced 139 new cases today, among 17,000 active cases, with 90 of today’s cases split between Toronto, Peel, York, Hamilton, and Waterloo.
To date 19.65 million doses have been administered across Ontario.
