Two people are facing charges after a crash between a pair of personal watercraft on Wellers Bay over the weekend.
Prince Edward OPP say two youths were taken to hospital with minor injuries after the crash, which happened just after 3:30 p.m. last Saturday (July 31).
Authorities have charged a 35-year-old and a 38-year-old with allowing a person under 16 to operate a personal watercraft, under the Canada Shipping Act.
Police have put out a link to some safe boating tips, which you can find by clicking here and are reminding everyone that personal watercraft are very powerful machines and shouldn’t be operated alone by someone who is under the age of 16.
