A Trenton woman has been charged after a crash in Belleville on Thursday afternoon.
City Police were called to the intersection of Bell Boulevard and Wallbridge-Loyalist Road, just before 3:00 p.m., where a car rear-ended another, as traffic was slowing down for an obstruction on the road.
Investigators say as they checked on the well-being of the drivers and an infant in the back seat of one of the vehicles, but no injuries were reported.
Police say they they found both full and empty bottles of alcohol in one of the cars and spoke to the driver, who was charged with impaired driving following a roadside test.
30 year-old Alysha Johnston has been charged with impaired driving and will appear in court on September 2.
