A Castleton man has been charge after an incident at Victoria Beach in Cobourg on Wednesday afternoon.
Cobourg Police were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance and allegedly assaulting a Town of Cobourg By-Law Officer.
They had to track down Jamie Moore, who had run from the scene, but were able to arrest him and lay charges of assault, breaching probation and being intoxicated in public.
He was released with conditions and a future court date.
