The Belleville Police Service responded to 70 calls from the 18th of July 2021 at 5:00 a.m. until the 19th of July 2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Breach of Probation
On July 18th, 2021, shortly after 9:00 a.m., police were dispatched to the city’s east end in regards to a domestic disturbance. Through investigation, officers on scene learned that the male party involved was currently breaching numerous release conditions. A 32-year-old Belleville man was taken into custody and is currently facing charges including: two counts of breach of probation contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code and three counts of failing to comply with a release order contrary to section 145(5)(a) of the Criminal Code. The accused male will be held for a bail hearing on the 19th of July 2021.
Warrant
On the 19th of July 2021, shortly after 1:30 a.m., a male party attended the Belleville Police Service to turn himself in. Officers confirmed that the male party was currently wanted on a warrant for two counts of breach of probation, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code. As a result, 28-year-old Aaron Woods Belleville male will be held for a bail hearing on the 19th of July 2021.
